Title: CORPORATE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (Wichita, Kansas)Reports to: Corporate Human Resources Director
BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating policies and procedures in support of company goals and strategies, ensuring legal compliance with Federal, State, local, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements across multi-state locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, lead, and collaborate with division HR Managers to create, update, and standardize strong processes in HR in support of company goals and strategy.
- Collaborate with corporate HR Director and leadership team to develop initiatives for attracting, engaging, and retaining dynamic team members.
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes to Wage & Hour, DOL, OSHA, and other legal requirements pertaining to Human Resources and Safety.
- Facilitate professional development, talent management, and training to division HR Managers and coordinate management development of business leaders, managers, and supervisory staff in matters of compliance, employee relations, safety, and HR subject matters.
- Partner with leadership and HR teams to develop and grow our Diversity, Engagement & Inclusion initiatives which foster environments of belonging throughout the organization.
- Revise current job descriptions and develop new job descriptions in compliance with FLSA guidelines.
- Collaborate and guide HR Managers and safety team leaders on initiatives to ensure a safe workplace.
- Gather, analyze, and consolidate a variety of data for calculating various HR, safety, and census related KPI's.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree with focus on Human Resources or related field.
- 5 years HR management experience, manufacturing environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of Federal Wage & Hour, OSHA, Worker's Compensation.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and credibility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels within the organization. Bi-lingual skills preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient in use of Excel and Microsoft Office
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Prolonged periods of time sitting, walking, and standing in an office environment as well as manufacturing settings
