The RoleWe are seeking an ambitious HR Benefits & Operations Manager to join our Human Resources team. Based in our New York office, you will manage and optimize both the strategic and operational aspects of employee benefits and HR processes across our US offices and support global HR initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring that our benefits programs and HR operations align with AlphaSights' business goals, enhancing employee satisfaction, and driving operational excellence.

Core Responsibilities:Benefits Management:- Manage US employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, disability, and 401(k).
- Refine and enhance our US benefits and global compensation strategy aligned with AlphaSights' philosophy.
- Lead the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment process, working closely with brokers to assess current plans, negotiate renewals, and communicate changes to employees.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all benefits-related federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ACA, FMLA, COBRA).
- Oversee administration of the 401(k) plan, manage annual audits, and ensure accurate payroll deductions.
- Handle employee benefit inquiries, resolving complex issues, and providing timely support.
- Conduct benchmarking and internal equity analyses to ensure competitiveness and fairness in compensation and benefits.
- Recommend benefits enhancements based on employee feedback and market trends.
HR Operations:- Oversee the day-to-day HR operations for AlphaSights' US offices, supporting HR processes, systems, and policies.
- Proactively review and improve HR practices, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency and maintain compliance.
- Oversee the entire employee onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a seamless and positive experience for both new hires and departing employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and ensure data integrity and security.
- Manage HR and payroll processing deadlines, collaborating with the Finance team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide operational HR guidance to managers and employees, offering advice on policies, processes, and compliance.
- Oversee and manage the full visa sponsorship and immigration process for international employees, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and timelines, and coordinating with external immigration partners where necessary.
- Lead and develop the US HR Operations team, ensuring effective delivery of HR services and support.
Leadership & Collaboration:- Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex HR operational and benefits queries, resolving issues effectively.
- Partner with the US HR Manager, and global HR team to roll out coordinated initiatives and projects.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, Finance, and external vendors.
- Take ownership of HR projects or initiatives to drive operational and strategic improvements across the organization.
What We Look For:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations, compensation, and benefits roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Bamboo, Balance Point, SAP) and data management.
- Strong knowledge of benefits compliance, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and FMLA.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize HR processes and benefits programs.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple workstreams and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- People management experience or experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits:- Expected total compensation of $125,000-$137,500.
- 20 vacation days, in addition to 10 public holidays and business closure during the winter holiday week.
