Sales / Account Manager - Automotive Manufacturing
Base Salary: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00
SUMMARY:
Tier-1 Automotive Supplier with an excellent company culture is motivated to hire Sales / Account Manager for their team in Hilliard. Will serve in a project management capacity within the sales department supporting General Motors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the "face of the company" to our OEM customers regarding all aspects of business and products (e.g., development, quality, delivery, etc.).
- Coordinate activities between related departments and parent company to optimize sales, inventory control and AR collections.
- Organize and clearly communicate with the necessary individuals (both internally and externally) to improve customer satisfaction.
- Promote Business Activities based on the profit plan, following the business Administration policies set by senior leadership and under the direction of Sales Management to achieve the targeted Sales, Development and Mission objectives.
- Participate and work closely with other internal associates (particularly Engineers and QA associates) on all aspects of customer business operations.
Project management skills and experience
Automotive supplier work experience high preferred. Strong preference for GM supplier experience.
Understanding of pricing strategies, costing, quoting and cost-down processes
Prior work experience with a tier one electronic components supplier.
General understanding or manufacturing concepts for electronics.
General knowledge of electronics
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's (BA or BS) degree preferred.
Project Management experience a plus
Experience working in a Japanese company is a plus.
EXPERIENCE
- 1-3 years of OEM automotive supplier related experience required
- General Motors sales account management a plus.
