Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of pediatric patients to assess health and development.
- Diagnose and -eat a variety of childhood illnesses and conditions.
- Develop and -implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Advocate for preventative care and promote healthy lifestyle choices for families.
- Manage pediatric patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings as necessary.
- Collaborate- with other physicians and healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
- Participate in patient education programs and provide resources to parents and guardians.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Pediatrics or eligibility for certification.
- Current medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina.
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on evidence-based medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families.
