Job Description

BEA Americas delivers sensors, solutions, and accessories for activation and safety in several market segments including pedestrian and industrial automatic doors, vehicle gates and barriers, transportation, security, and retail sensing applications. The Production Planner will be an Ideal Team Player who supports our mission to build a convenient, safe, automated world and works to achieve our vision of continued growth and market expansion.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Support Production department through accurate and timely:Production Order requirements for Make to Order, Make to Stock and VOMI in both Production Packaging and ManufacturingAssistance with prioritization of work by establishing appropriate due datesHighlighting future capacity constraints by understanding hours needed to support business goals and hours available in Production Packaging and ManufacturingCollaboration with quality, warehouse and shipping staffsSupport Materials through:Analysis of current component stock levels to schedule accurately. This would include, but not limited to, managing MRP documents for identified vendorsCollaborate with Warehouse Manager on movement of materials to and from the Off-Site warehouseMaintaining Dynamics data as needed (eg. safety stock, lead time, forecasts, etc. for VOMI, Off-site Warehouse, other)Identifying and assisting to address and resolve production issues to avoid delaysOther Continuous Improvement activities (Daily Management)Support Customers and Customer Service department through accurate and timely:VOMI replenishment needs and preparation of proper shipping documentsCommunication of lead time for products and specific customer ordersMain point of contact for delivery questions from Customer Service and Sales, collaborating with the necessary team members in OperationsCommunication about changes to orders (ship early or re-confirming dates)All other duties as assigned by ManagerDynamics 365 implementation supportISO process and data supportPhysical Inventory supportCycle Count supportStandard Work developmentQualifications: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required. Associates Degree (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)Expert level proficiency in the use of an ERP system and Microsoft Office SuiteExpert level communicator and ability to work in a self-directed mannerExperience in production, scheduling, and supply chain (>3 years)Salary: $80,000/year
