    Job Details
  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Home Health LVN for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, and CA License.

    Schedule Information
  • Hours are flexible, usually M-F 8am-5pm, with a 1 hr lunch
  • Every 3rd weekend - when they work the weekend they can have a day off the week before and after if wanted
  • Schedule is 5pm-8am when on call
  • Call is usually required 2-4x per month for the weekdays
    Unit Specific Information
  • Floor specific orientation: 1.5 - 2 weeks
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: pt infusions, IV antibiotics, TPN, central lines, PICC lines, blood draws
  • They may have to do infusions for peds, if the visit is related to pediatric condition they will be sent to ER for evaluation, most/if not all of pt population is not peds.

  • Unit: Home Health
  • Patient load is based on productivity, usually about 5 visits per day, admission is usually equivalent to two patients
  • EMR: Netsmart which was formerly known as Allscripts
  • They may have to take call
  • They will work into holiday rotation
  • Any scrub color
