Job Description
Our client is a family-owned food manufacturing company in Vaughan, Ontario, experiencing rapid growth. With a deep-rooted passion for quality and tradition, the company is looking for a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to join its team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and play a key role in driving HR strategies that support the company’s growth and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy Development: Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and fostering a positive work environment.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Oversee recruitment strategies to attract top talent, particularly in manufacturing and production roles. Collaborate on succession planning and workforce development.
Performance Management: Lead performance management initiatives, including regular reviews, goal setting, and coaching for employees across all levels of the organization.
Training & Development: Identify training needs and partner with leadership to develop and implement employee development programs that promote continuous learning and growth.
HR Compliance: Ensure all HR policies and procedures are compliant with relevant labor laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and industry best practices.
Change Management: Lead change management initiatives as the company continues to grow, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with company culture and values.
HR Metrics & Reporting: Track and report key HR metrics to leadership, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on business partnering roles.
Strong understanding of HR practices in manufacturing or production environments.
Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
CHRP or CHRL designation is preferred but not required.
