We are seeking two (2) Associate Lawyers with 2 to 4 years of litigation experience for our Toronto office. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy law firm. One successful candidate will be working primarily with litigation partners in Professional Liability and Construction Law, with some exposure to other practice areas. The other successful candidate will be working with partners in Condominium Law. The ideal candidates will be equally comfortable working as part of a collaborative and dynamic team, as they are working independently on their own files.
Qualifications
Called to the Ontario Bar and in good standing with the LSO
Excellent writing, drafting, research and analytical skills; oral advocacy, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Professional disposition for dealing with clients, staff and lawyers
Strong file and practice management skills
Possess an eye for attention to detail and drive to achieve a high calibre of work product
Ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately and effectively
