AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Java Developer for a full-time, W2 Contract position based in Chicago, IL.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Hybrid.
Assignment Duration: 14 Months with possibility of extending.
Compensation & Benefits: Compensation is between $55.75 - $61.75 hourly. Benefits include co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k, as well as the option for Paid Time Off (dependent on amount requested).
Position Description:
The Developer will help create new Snowflake Reporting views to be consumed by Client Reports or other consumers. Java microservices will also need to be modified to consume data from strategic sources instead of legacy sources. Legacy technology solutions and processes will need to be redesigned to leverage strategic platforms and technologies.
Qualifications (Must Have's):
ANSI SQL experience, Snowflake Cloud and familiarity with SQL scripting is a must. Java, J2SE, Java Server Pages, XML/XSLT, JSON. Spring/Spring Boot, REST API using Microservice Architecture. JSON, AJAX, JDBC, JPA/ORM framework, JUnit. Pivotal Cloud Foundry (Tanzu Application Service) or Public Cloud. Integration of Snowflake with other data processing and reporting tools. Should have experience working with any of the cloud and able to load data from cloud storage. Strong understanding and experience with Cloud (Azure) services. DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines. Experience with one of the Reporting Tools: Coric, Power BI, cloud-based reporting tools like Tableau, Thoughtspot, etc. API Management tools (Layer 7 API Developer Portal, Azure API Management). Security - working with CyberArk, encryptions, data masking, etc. Experience in Financial Services.
ETL - Experience with one of the ETL tools. Messaging: Kafka. Code quality tools, such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, AppSpider, and CAST. Monitoring tools such as Dynatrace. Knowledge of data modeling. Experience with Eagle vended product. Python.
