Project Engineer
Competitive Compensation & Benefits: $80,000 - $130,000 per year based on experience
Full-time, Hybrid or Remote position: Based in Sudbury, ON
THE COMPANY:
An expanding group of companies based in Sudbury, Ontario focused primarily on the mining and heavy industrial sector completing engineering and fabrication projects primarily across northern Ontario. They are a small team (20+) that emphasizes mentorship, internal promotion, employee satisfaction, engagement, and internal growth.
THE ROLE:
As a Project Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Engineering and Production Management teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Key responsibilities include:
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives through the development and improvement of current manufacturing and engineering practices and processes, along with the improvement of efficiencies across operation.
Integrate with Business Development, Engineering, and Production teams to support projects from cradle to grave.
Leverage technical expertise to develop innovative solutions for customer-provided technical challenges.
Engage with clients and business development personnel to cultivate strong relationships with customers and other technical stakeholders.
Provide on-site commissioning and management for projects involving installation or construction aspects.
WHAT YOU BRING:
5+ years of Project Engineering experience.
P.Eng certification required.
Experience working for an Engineering Service Provider.
Previous work in a fabrication facility.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Computer Literacy.
Experience in 2D and 3D design work (Solidworks, Inventor, CAD).
Ability to work remotely or on-site.
