We promote individual and collective growth within the community by redefining affordable housing.nnDescriptionnnShinda is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator, under the supervisor of the Property Manager, who is responsibble for coordinating tenant maintenance requests while providing comprehensive, pro-active service to tenants and owners.nnEssential Role and Responsibilities:nnCoordinate tenant maintenance requests and unit turnover maintenancennUse independent judgment to handle maintenance request, and respond as appropriate.nnUtilize decision-making ability to problem solve and manage workflow efficiently.nnPrepare letters and other forms of written communications to tenants and owners.nnManage recurring maintenance and billing.nnProcess vendor status reports and billing associated with maintenance requests.nnPerform administrative duties in support of the Internal Operations Director.nnCreate positive relationships with owners, tenants, vendors and co-workers.nnReceive the public and answer questions, in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries from residents, clients and others and refer, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or departmentnnCollect and process rent (if applicable)nnCompose, type and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda and other materialnnMinimum Requirements:nnHigh School diploma or equivalentnnAt least two years of administrative experiencennComputer SkillsnnSALARY RANGE: 40-45K ANNUAL (35 HOUR WORK WEEK)nnPosition RequirementsnnJob RequirementsnnPrior property management experience requirednnExperience with property management software preferred.nnSpanish speaking preferred but not required.nnShinda Management Corporation is committed to workplace diversity and inclusion.
