Legacy Residential is currently seeking an experienced

Maintenance Coordinator

for a 400-units residential property Located in PG County.

Job Description

  • Work closely with managerial staff like the Property Manager, Maintenance Manager and Assistant Maintenance Manager to ensure the maintenance department is supported and maintains a high level of customer service to residents, vendors and staff.
  • Communicate directly with service providers, vendors, and maintenance contractors to schedule repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance, and other projects required to keep the physical assets running efficiently.
  • Oversee inventory management including but not limited to pulling returning keys for maintenance staff and contractors. Ensuring key inventory is accurate daily.
  • Assign tasks to workers, coordinate them, and ensure completion of work. Close out completed service request daily.
  • Accountable for establishing and preparing a 24 hour on-call schedule for your team
  • Monitor use of PPE and other resources; recommend replacements when due.
  • Monitor safety and health compliance training.
  • Provide a wide variety of administrative assistance to managers, especially in the areas of managing work orders and tenant communication.
  • Demonstrates customer services skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering questions from team and residents, responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services, and assigned work orders with efficiency and urgency.
  • Miscellaneous property management support
  • Assist Regional/Maintenance Manager with any requested work to be done on the property.
  • Be adaptive to different property management tasks and responsibilities.
