Join our team at Brockton Hospital and be better and stronger than ever.nnTransport Aide Roles and Responsibilities:nnTransport patients between nursing units, diagnostic areas, doctors’ suites, and other areas of the hospital.nnPractices Hand washing technique for direct patient care.nnTransporters should not lift or assist in any lifting of patients. If Patient needs assistance, ask nursing for help.nnConsistently uses 2 patient identifiers when picking up patient for transport.nnDetermines patient name, destination, mode of travel, time and other relevant data, following notification from the Patient Tracking Systems (TDSS) or the Service Response Center.nnReports to work on time, logs into and out of both the Kronos and Patient Tracking systems (TDSS) upon the start and end of each shift.nnReports to work well-groomed and in uniform consistent with the Department dress code.
