As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of a Senior Maintenance Engineer is to efficiently and effectively carry out repairs, maintenance, alterations, and installations following departmental procedures. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, functionality, and appearance of the hotel property by conducting preventative maintenance, assessing and prioritizing tasks, and taking necessary actions to resolve issues efficiently. This role will also provide exceptional customer service, respond promptly and professionally to guest service calls, and play a vital role in creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests.nnDiligently determine defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, and take necessary corrective action, meticulously following specific departmental procedures and maintaining detailed records.nEnsure strict adherence to all insurance, local, county, state, and federal government codes, laws, and requirements related to maintenance activities. Maintain a high standard of workmanship to uphold the hotel's image and reputation.nExecute routine preventative maintenance tasks on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure reliability and extend the life of assets. Regularly inspect and maintain building systems to prevent potential issues.nTake on specific maintenance repairs related to new construction projects as assigned through service requests. Collaborate with other teams to integrate new systems and facilities seamlessly.nConduct routine and preventative maintenance for carpentry and painting tasks to keep the hotel's aesthetics at an optimal level.nRespond to guest complaints with exceptional courtesy and promptness.nAccurately document all work performed, parts needed, and parts used on service requests.nMaintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and equipment after use, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
