Job Overview:nnOversees all Front Desk staff. Has the competency and intrapersonal skills to work independently, and without direct supervision. Possesses strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills. Detailed oriented and able to multitask. Meets and greets residents; checks guests and service providers in/out. Able to understand and react to emergency response and access control procedures; monitors and operates electronic security control systems; and accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.nnYour Responsibilities:nnOversees and schedules all Front Desk staff for building.nMaintains schedules and timesheets/cards for payroll purposes.nKeeps track of activity logs, incident reports for the Manager’s review.nWorks closely with the Front Desk Coordinator and assists the Front Desk Coordinator to fill shifts when needed.nProvides training for all new hires assigned to property.nForwards vacation and day off requests to Front Desk Coordinator for approval.nAssists in investigations, tape/log reviews for any unusual incidents.nHelps Property Manager with any special requests, i.e., administrative work, mailings, etc.nDemonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.nMonitors Emergency Response System.nGreets and directs residents, guests, and invitees.nMonitors and controls Electronic Security Control Systems.nResponds to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner within hours of notification.nMonitors and controls access to the building.nMaintains daily log, records, and forms.nResolves and follows-up on all complaints/issues.nMaintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s).nMay be assigned other duties by the on-site property manager.nFollows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.nnSkills and Qualifications:nnHigh school diploma or equivalency preferred. College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.nTwo (2) to three (3) years of business experience preferred.nCommand of information system hardware/software is preferred.nEffective written and verbal communication skills.nMultiple language fluency is desirable.nStrong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.nAbility to navigate the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions.nComplete all required forms.nAbility to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements.nAbility to respond to emergencies and callouts in a timely manner.nCommunicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.nnPhysical Requirements:nnAbility to lift 30 – 50 lbs.nWork in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.nHandle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages.nReach with hands and arms.nnThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
