Job Overview - Valuation Analyst, Real Estate Securities:

Join our client’s dynamic team in Bucks County, PA, as a Valuation Analyst, where you will play a key role in analyzing and valuing real estate securities across diverse sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to leverage their expertise in finance and real estate with exposure to complex investment securities.

Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000/year + bonus

Location: Bucks County, PA

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Valuation Analyst, Real Estate Securities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct detailed research on capital markets, competitors, and industry trends, and provide insights on valuation multiples, market cap rates, and credit spreads.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop, enhance, and apply financial models for various valuation methods, including discounted cash flow and market multiples, to support real estate securities analysis.
  • Valuations: Lead valuations of real estate securities across subsectors like commercial and residential real estate, applying advanced qualitative and quantitative models.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive market reports and present valuation results clearly to internal teams and clients.
  • Support: Collaborate with senior leadership and client teams to provide data-driven insights and support decision-making on real estate investments.


Qualifications for the Valuation Analyst, Real Estate Securities:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (focus on valuation or securities analysis preferred).
  • Experience: 1-5 years in Real Estate or Financial Services, ideally with Debt and Equity Securities Valuation experience.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience in Bloomberg, Intex, CoStar, Argus, or Compass Analytics.
  • Certifications: Progress toward CFA or CAIA preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to handle complex datasets and deliver clear, actionable insights.
