Sr. Sourcing Manager
As the Sr. Sourcing Manager, you will own the supplier selection and negotiation process. Our company is moving at an incredible pace, and our Sr. Sourcing Manager will be responsible for engaging internally and externally at every level to ensure successful partnerships with best-in-class suppliers. Key Responsibilities
- Develops, aligns and implements commodity strategies in the RF commodity space.
- Negotiates and manages the maintenance of agreements with suppliers that provide the structure for all business relationships between our company and the supply base.
- Engages with the NPI/Product development process to ensure alignment with the commodity strategies in the RF space.
- Directs new supplier introduction and/or disengagement requirements to/from the supply base.
- Drives resolution to systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-time, which may include engagement with sub-tiers in the supply chain.
- Develops and presents high level cost reduction opportunities.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in procurement and experience with strategic sourcing.
- Proven background of successful procurement strategy implementation.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to determine and explain usage and pricing variances.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills including the ability to effectively present information to top management, suppliers, and customers.
- Strong executive communication and internal/external negotiation skills.
- Ability to cut through ambiguity and detail limitations to make concrete and sound decisions.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and act quickly to solve problems.
- Able to effectively interface with all levels and departments within the organization.
