Responsibilities include:

• Drafting complaints
• Engaging in legal research and writing to assist in motion practice
• Involvement in settlement negotiations and court appearances

Required Qualifications:

• A Juris Doctor (J.D) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership and in good standing in:

New Jersey

New York

USDNJ = United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, preferred but not required

EDNY = Eastern District of New York, preferred but not required

SDNY = Southern District of New York, preferred but not required

• 3-7 years of litigation experience in a law firm or similar setting
• Healthcare/healthcare reimbursement experience preferred but not required
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents
• Ability to think creatively in order to develop effective legal strategies and solutions to complex legal problems
