4-6 months Contract to Hire
Candidates must be flexible with shifts. Always start training on day shift Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and purify DNA samples for sequencing
- Operate and maintain next-generation sequencing (NGS) platforms
- Perform PCR amplification for research and clinical projects
- Analyze sequencing data using bioinformatics tools
- Ensure sequencing run quality and troubleshoot issues
- Document procedures and results accurately for audits and reports
- Calibrate and maintain sequencing instruments and equipment
- Collaborate with R&D and QC teams to support drug discovery projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree, preferably in biology, biochemistry
- Any industry experience would be a plus, lab experience through school coursework is acceptable
- Basic understanding of hands-on biology experiments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and time management skills
