A Transportation Project Manager job in Nashville, TN is available through IntePros. Candidates will be responsible for protecting US DOT numbers for all transportation vehicles and ensuring that all drivers and vehicles are in DOT compliance. Candidates will also be setting deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program, as well as preparing reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.

This is a 4-month contract assignment.

This role can be fully remote.

This role is also open to candidates in Seattle, WA, Atlanta, GA, Houston, TX, New York, NY.

The role will pay a maximum of $57hr D.O.Q.

Transportation Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Being responsible for evaluating, launching, or implementing new programs or initiatives

• Managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with a high degree of independence.

• Evaluating, launching, or implementing new programs or initiatives.

• Creating Weekly matrix- support on reporting out – meeting key deliverables – keep the lights on activities for the week.

• Advising on complex regulatory questions and “seeing around corners” to support long-term planning and decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

• May require a bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

• Experience with commercial motor vehicle or other federal regulatory and enforcement programs.

• Project management experience or relevant certification Project Management Professional PMP is preferred.

• Must have experience with DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
