We are seeking a Provider Contract Administrator to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment. As a key member of our provider network team, you will be responsible for administering and managing free-standing ancillary provider contracts, ensuring smooth operations and compliance across various departments.
Responsibilities:
- Administer free-standing ancillary provider contracts, supporting our Provider Contract Managers.
- Manage the contract issuance and execution process, ensuring timely signatures from Senior Management and contract return to providers.
- Write and distribute provider updates summarizing terms of new contracts for distribution to operational areas.
- Upload executed contracts to the provider contract repository on SharePoint.
- Maintain an updated tracking list of unique contract provisions.
- Respond to provider contract-related inquiries and provide clarification to operational areas as needed.
- Provide contract documentation and related materials to authorized parties, including internal teams, auditors, and legal departments.
- Support audits, including quarterly SAS70 audits, CMS, and NCQA audits, by furnishing necessary contract documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 2-3 years of experience in provider contract administration or similar functions.
- Excellent research and investigative skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Exceptional critical-thinking and analytical abilities to interpret complex information.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
