Express Employment Professionals Meriden is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates for various industrial positions across different industries. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, sales, and quality control, with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This position not remote and located in Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and recruiting candidates for industrial positions through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Screening and interviewing candidates to assess their skills, qualifications, and fit for available positions.
- Building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their hiring requirements and provide them with top-quality candidates.
- Collaborating with clients to ensure a smooth recruitment process, including coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, and facilitating job offers.
- Providing exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Meeting and exceeding recruitment targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of candidate and client interactions in the company's database.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and staffing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in industrial recruitment, with a focus on screening, interviewing, and placing candidates in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or similar industries.
- Sales skills with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and clients.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Microsoft Office and experience using recruitment software or applicant tracking systems.
- Work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
