The Loan Administrator Consultant is responsible for the accurate and timely servicing of the Bank's loan portfolio, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as internal lending policies. This role involves high-level coordination with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processing and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
General Duties
- Serve as the LAU representative, coordinating transactions among customers, Agent Banks, Participant banks, the Front Office, and the Americas Treasury Division (ATD).
- Oversee the administrative aspects of all New Deal Closings, including calculating, invoicing, and disbursing deal-related fees.
- Manage the movement of funds during initial funding and closing, working closely with Borrowers and Bank Groups.
- Report transactions requiring special handling or approvals to Management and Supervisors.
Credit Arrangement Maintenance
- Independently manage the administrative processes for complex loan deals as the administrative agent or bilateral lender.
- Provide consultative support to Account Officers on operational deal structure issues.
- Review documentation, including Term Sheets and Credit Approval, ensuring accuracy in the loan documentation and maintaining accurate Credit Arrangements in ACBS.
Commercial Loan Maintenance
- Manage daily maintenance of commitment facilities, including monitoring borrowing statuses and preparing transactions such as rollovers, repayments, and prepayments.
- Calculate, invoice, and disburse interest and fee payments from both Borrower and Lender perspectives.
- Maintain oversight of Fronting Letters of Credit, Invoice Discounting, and Risk Participation.
- Monitor and distribute Financials as due and collaborate with Treasury on rate settings for loans.
Reconciliation
- Act as a troubleshooter for deal management issues, communicating with Treasury to resolve discrepancies in funding rates.
- Interact with customers regarding cash movement activities and reconcile statements with ledger entries.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in short-term projects to maintain data integrity and manage filing and billing.
- Conduct periodic data integrity checks and undertake special projects as assigned.
Compliance
- Gain a fundamental understanding of applicable banking rules and regulations.
- Attend Annual Compliance Training and address compliance-related queries through the Americas Legal and Compliance Division.
- Report any potentially prohibited transactions (e.g., OFAC-related) upon detection.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in loan product administration, particularly as an Administrative Agent.
- Proficient in loan operating systems, such as ACBS and LoanIQ.
- Experience with specialized lending products (e.g., Asset Securitization, Leasing, Project Finance).
- Familiarity with compliance requirements in lending.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in managing lending products.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to perform under pressure.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of payment systems (e.g., FED, CHIPS, SWIFT).
Pay- $39.56 /hour
