Job Duties
- Contract Review and Management: Reviewing contracts, managing the company’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, including document and metadata management, develop policies and procedures for CLM.
- Real Property: Support lease reviews, develop and maintain the company’s real estate document database, and manage lease expirations and renewals. Prolease is a plus.
- Regulatory Support: Assist with regulatory inquiries from government agencies and internal departments, conduct research, and provide guidance on regulatory risks and statutory requirements.
- General Legal Support: Collaborate with other legal department teams to deliver timely, high-quality legal services, assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures, and contribute to building risk management processes and controls.
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school.
- Member of the FL Bar
- 3-5 years of experience in the legal department of a mid-sized or large organization , in the corporate transactions department of a mid-sized or large law firm , or a combination of both
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically as needed
- Ability to work productively from home on a permanent basis
- High priority for a candidate to live within 100 miles of the Tampa area to attend in person monthly meetings.
