We have partnered with an Am100 firm who is seeking a passionate and experienced Employment Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, a commitment to social justice, and the ability to represent clients in various employment-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on employment law matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour claims, and workplace policies.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and stay current on employment law developments.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and litigation.
- Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and provide timely updates on case progress.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active California State Bar membership.
- 4+ years of experience in employment law, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong litigation experience, with a proven track record in state and federal courts.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
