Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of goods from suppliers to customers in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. This role involves planning, overseeing logistics operations, liaising with suppliers, customers, and transport providers, and troubleshooting any issues in the supply chain.

Pay: $21-23 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and track shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and transportation providers.
  • Create and implement efficient logistics and transportation schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, procurement) to forecast demand and plan for future logistics needs.
  • Address and resolve any issues in the logistics process, such as delays or damaged goods.
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with logistics software, ERP systems, and/or transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
