Cohen Seglias has an opening for an associate with a minimum of 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience in our Philadelphia office. Candidates must be licensed in Pennsylvania, with a demonstrated proficiency in the state and federal civil procedures. Candidates must also have strong academic credentials and legal research and writing skills. This position covers a broad range of litigation including insurance coverage, commercial disputes, corporate disputes, real estate, landlord/tenant, and collections. The attorney will be required to analyze facts and perform legal research and writing applicable to the various disciplines. Typical duties will also include the drafting of pleadings, motion practice and preparing for and taking depositions (in both state and federal courts). This position will include providing litigation assistance to trial counsel.
