Labor and Employment Associate
Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 2-3
years of employment litigation experience to join their New York office.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of employment litigation experience (Class of 2021-2022)
- Considerable experience with employment counseling, single-plaintiff litigation, class/collective action litigation, and investigations
- Strong analytical and writing skills and experience with all (or most) of the following is preferred: responding to demand letters, drafting position statements and dispositive motions, handling discovery (including eDiscovery); and preparing for witness interviews and/or depositions, arbitrations, hearings, and trials
- Experience providing advice and counseling on a range of workplace law issues, including workplace accommodation, employment and separation agreements, reductions in-force, and employment related policies, is also preferred
- Must have management side law firm experience
- JD from an accredited university and excellent academic credentials
- Must be admitted to the New York bar
