Experienced Labor & Employment Practice Attorney (Remote Opportunity)
Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a highly motivated attorney looking for a flexible, off-track position at a premier labor and employment department in an international law firm. This position offers a reduced schedule and is remote.
Hours Requirement: Reduced
Compensation Range: $200,000 - $275,000
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of employment litigation experience handling single-plaintiff actions involving discrimination, harassment, restrictive covenant/trade secret misappropriation and whistleblowing, as well as employment class actions and wage-and-hour collective actions
- Experience in all (or most) of the following is preferred: responding to demand letters, drafting position statements, handling discovery (including eDiscovery); researching and drafting motions and briefs; preparing for witness interviews and/or depositions; taking and/or defending depositions; working with expert witnesses; preparing for arguments, arbitrations, hearings, and trials
- Experience providing advice and counseling on workplace law issues, including wage and hour, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment and separation agreements, reductions in-force, and employment related policies, is also preferred
- Excellent communication, writing, research, and analytical skills
- Highly organized and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have management side law firm experience
- JD from an accredited university and excellent academic credentials
- Membership in the state bar for the market where you are applying, or the ability to become barred in that state
