A global law firm is seeking a Special Counsel Attorney with insurance coverage litigation experience to join its expanding Seattle office. In this role, you will represent insurance companies in coverage disputes and provide guidance on various coverage matters.

Responsibilities:

• Represent insurance carriers in coverage litigation and disputes.
• Advise clients on insurance coverage issues and draft coverage opinions.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Take and defend depositions, attend court conferences, and argue motions.
• Assist with settlement negotiations, arbitration, and appeals.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation.
• Licensed to practice in Washington State.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Experience analyzing insurance policies and handling all litigation phases.
• Arbitration or trial experience is a plus.
