Gamoran Legal Consulting is assisting a prestigious law firm in California seeking a talented mid to senior-level associate for their Labor & Employment Department. This opportunity is available in one of their California offices.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience representing employers in employment law matters involving both litigation and advice and counseling, with at least two of those years focused specifically on California employment law. Candidates must have a strong foundation in discrimination, retaliation, harassment law, and wrongful discharge actions. Additional experience in wage and hour law, as well as class action litigation, is required.

Requirements:

• Education : Juris Doctor (JD) from a reputable law school.
• Experience : At least 5 years in employment law, including 2+ years specific to California employment matters.
• Skills : High academic achievement, excellent legal writing, drafting, and communication skills, and prior experience at a law firm.
• Bar Admission : Admission to the California State Bar is required.
• Desired Attributes : Strong ambition, teamwork orientation, and a commitment to building a national practice.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary : $285,000 - $420,000, commensurate with experience.
• Bonus : Discretionary performance-based bonus may be available.
