    Job Requirements
  • Must have an NC License, BLS certification.
  • Preferred or nice to have: Hospital experience, Ortho experience.
    Schedule Information
  • Shift Information: Day Shift – 1 charge RN, 6 RNs, 1-2 LPNs, 3 PCTs, & 1 HUC; Night Shift – 1 charge RN, 5 RNs, 1-2 LPNs, 2PCTs, & 1 HUC.
  • Patient Ratios – Day shift 5:1(6:1 stretch) Night shift 6:1 (7:1 stretch).
  • Weekends and On call: Every other weekend.
    Unit Specific Information
  • J6 Orthopedics Location: Mission Hospital Floor: J6 Building: Mission Main
  • Number of Beds – 32 individual rooms
  • Number of Staff – 50
  • Type of staff: Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, Health Unit Coordinators.
  • Type of equipment – Walkers, Bedside Commode, Bladder Scanners, CPM, Sky lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Lift, Maxi Move, vital sign machine, hover mat, bair hugger, Wheelchairs.
  • EMR - Cerner
  • Typical procedures performed: Dressing changes, suture/staple removal, Foley Catheter, NG Tubes, Wound Vac maintenance and removal.
  • Best personality Fit: Team player and ability to adapt to fast pace environment. Ability to care like family.

  • Dressing Code: Scrub Color/Attire - RNs Navy, PCTs Galaxy Blue, LPNs Sage Green.
