  • General Information about units: 24 Beds, 42 Staff Members, Types of staff differ between day and night shifts.
  • Patient Ratios: 1:4 or 1:5.
  • Type of Equipment: Standard unit equipment.
  • EMR System: Cerner.
  • Typical Procedures: Occasional pelvic exams, Echo, thoracentesis.
  • Best Personality Fit: Team players, willing to learn.
  • Floating Area(s): Other med-surg units- team rarely floats.
  • Dress Code: RNs- navy, white or combo of both colors, CNAs- Galaxy Blue.
  • Unit Guidelines/Policies: Basic hospital policies and guidelines.
