  • Weekends: every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
    Unit Specific Information
  • A7 West Med Surg tele unit details
  • Charge nurse experience preferred
  • Floating Area(s): Other medical surgical units, ED holding medical/surgical patients.
  • Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire – all navy, all white, or white top and navy pants, navy or white undershirts if needed.
  • Unit Guidelines/Policies: Travelers float before permanent staff.

  • A7 West Med Surg tele
  • Number of Beds - 18
  • Patient Ratios - 6:1, Goal is for charge nurse to be out of staffing to assist.
  • Type of equipment - Baxter IV pumps, Wound vacs, SCDS, prima-fits, primo-fits
  • EMR - Cerner Powerchart
  • Typical procedures performed on units: Peripheral IV starts, Dressing changes, Other standard medical surgical skills
