Job Summary: The Logistics Technician I plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of logistics and production activities. This position involves performing tasks related to production logistics, sanitation, material preparation, and system interactions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team environment to maintain operational efficiency and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities: - Operations Compliance: Perform all duties in accordance with established work instructions and operational procedures.
- Production Logistics: Complete production logistics tasks by moving materials and transacting information through production systems.
- Sanitation: Perform building sanitation duties and maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Material Preparation: Prepare materials for operational and logistical tasks, ensuring timely and accurate availability.
- System Interface: Interface with plant systems such as document control and manufacturing execution systems (MES) to update and maintain accurate records.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and management, ensuring all records and updates are maintained accurately.
Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of work experience in a relevant field (shipping, warehouse, or similar roles)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills to navigate systems and record data accurately
Preferred Qualifications (if any): - Previous experience working in logistics or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) software is a plus, but not required
