Job Title: Senior Injection Molding Process Technician
Location: Chatham, NY
Shift: Swing shift (alternating 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm) & 3rd shift (11pm-7am)
Pay: $28.95-$36.99 per hour, based on experience (+$1.00/hour 3rd shift differential)
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 per year, with up to $5,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation bonus
Reports To: Molding Supervisor

Position Overview
The Senior Injection Molding Process Technician will be responsible for overseeing safe and efficient mold installation, troubleshooting processes, and supporting new process development. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in plastics injection molding and will ensure process quality, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
- Promote a safe work environment by adhering to Division safety rules and participating in safety audits.
Mold Installation & Setup
- Conduct new mold inspection, installation, and setup, ensuring alignment with safety and quality standards.
Troubleshooting & Process Optimization
- Utilize technical aptitude to troubleshoot tooling, processes, and machinery; support efficiency improvements in collaboration with engineering teams.
New Process Development
- Work with Engineering on new process development and plant productivity initiatives.
Quality & Documentation
- Interpret and adhere to quality system data, ensuring thorough documentation and effective communication of data.
Collaboration & Support
- Collaborate with Shift Process Technicians to optimize existing processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of the facility.
Overtime
- Be open to working overtime when required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of five years in a hands-on plastics injection molding role.
- Education: Two-year technical degree preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of IQMS and basic PC literacy.
- Testing: Must pass Work Keys Mathematics and Technical Aptitude assessments.
