Position Overview:
As an HR Business Partner at our banking client, you will work directly with business leaders to provide strategic HR support, drive key initiatives, and foster a strong organizational culture. This role requires a solid background in HR, with the ability to partner with executives and provide guidance on a range of HR functions, including employee relations, talent management, performance evaluations, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advisory Role: Partner with business leaders to provide guidance on people and culture initiatives, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Employee Coaching: Conduct regular 1:1 meetings to support employee development and provide coaching on performance and personal growth.
- Talent Management: Assist with talent reviews, succession planning, and performance evaluation processes.
- HR Projects & Initiatives: Lead and execute HR projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the HR point of contact for assigned business units, offering insights, guidance, and updates on HR initiatives.
- Workday Expertise: Use Workday to input personnel changes, manage reporting, and maintain accurate records.
- Recruitment Support: Provide backup support to the recruiting team, including candidate screening and interview coordination.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of HR experience, with a preference for candidates with financial services (banking) experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables) and Outlook.
- Experience with HRIS systems; Workday experience preferred (non-technical).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus.
