Staff Accountant

Our client is a growing company looking to add a skilled Staff Accountant to their team during expansion. This is an opportunity for a candidate looking to ready to learn and grow with the company, in a friendly, collaborative office space.

Overview of the Staff Accountant role:

• Accounts Payable: 3-way matching of invoices, data entry
• Accounts Receivable: Post payments to ledgers
• Communicate daily with both vendors and staff regarding the status of customer accounts
• Assist with the year-end close process
• Assist with payroll processing
• Additional projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications for a Staff Accountant:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficient in Excel, familiar with an ERP
• Excellent communication skills
