Hotel:nnOmaha Embassy Suitesnn555 South 10th StnnOmaha, NE 68102nnMaintenance TechniciannnPart timennAtrium SPIRIT – where teamwork, passion and appreciation ignite service excellencennPrimary Purpose:nnThe primary purpose of the Maintenance Technician is to provide general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, grounds and public spaces.nnWork Performed:nnThe Maintenance Technician will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:nnPerform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis (e.g., "room care");nnComplete work orders from guests and hotel associates and record inlog;nnAssist in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, lighting systems, and make minor repairs and/orreplacement;nnMake routine repairs on all hotel equipment including small appliances, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, boilers, pool equipment, HVAC, hand and power tools and general plumbing systems such as pipelines, toilets andsinks;nnService the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaningfilters;nnRefurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors windows and counters, including paintingand finishingfurniture and fixtures ifneeded;nnOperate powerequipment, hand tools and vehicles associated with ground maintenance and landscaping activitiesin allseasons;nnMaintain grounds equipment and tools in proper working order. Perform minor maintenance and repair on equipment and tools asrequired;nnRemove trash daily from sidewalks, grounds, landscaping and parkinglots;nnProvide friendly, prompt service for hotel guests and associatesin accordance with Atrium’s CoreValues;nnFollow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents,injuriesand unsafe work conditions to management; andnnAny and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.nnQualifications:nnSix (6) months of maintenance experiencennHotel maintenance experience preferrednnHigh school diploma or equivalentnnHVAC, Electrical and/or Plumbing Certification preferrednnAble to lift a minimum of 50lbsoccasionallynnAble to lift a minimum of 25lbs regularlynnAbleto bend and squat repeatedlynnAble to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shiftnnFlexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings,nights,weekends and holidaysnnWhen you’re an Atrium Associate, you’re a part of a crucial workforce providing the ultimate ‘Home Away From Home’ for our guests.
