Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.nnTests equipment to check operation and cleans jams. Runs equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime. Make preventive maintenance checks and inspections.nnNotifies the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic of reoccurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action recommended, and of quality, problems or supplies needed. Instructs and directs any maintenance trainees assigned.nnTroubleshoot and maintain a variety of mechanical/electrical equipment including air compressors, repair rollers, chains, bearings, install seals, sprockets, chillers, gearboxes, pumps, fans, valves, motors, extruders, dies, grinders, winders, bag machines and various other support equipment of this plant.nnUses full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before start of a job.nnQualificationsnn3 Years of Industrial Maintenance experience necessary.nnPrevious knowledge of machinery used in polyethylene film manufacturing, a plus.nnBackground in any of the following: mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance.nnAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints to plan setup and operation of all types of machine shop tools.nnKnowledge on mechanical and electrical principles and machining practices.
