Key Responsibilities 1.
Customer Assistance Provide outstanding customer service by answering inquiries, resolving concerns, and
addressing complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services to enhance
their experience.
2.
Sales Support: - Assist the sales team by preparing quotes, processing orders, and managing sales
documentation.
- Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities
for upselling or cross-selling.
3.
Account Management: - Maintain and update customer accounts, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data
entry.
- Monitor customer transactions and resolve any discrepancies in a timely fashion.
4.
Call Handling: - Manage high volumes of incoming calls, responding to customer inquiries and directing
calls to appropriate team members as necessary.
5.
Communication: - Maintain clear and effective communication with customers and team members to ensure
a seamless service experience.
- Collaborate with the sales team to share customer feedback and insights.
6.
Payment Processing: - Assist with processing customer payments, including credit cards, checks, and ACH
transactions.
- Ensure payments are accurately applied to customer accounts.
7.
Product Knowledge: - Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services to effectively assist
customers and support sales efforts.
- Stay informed about new product launches and enhancements.
8.
Administrative Duties: - Organize and manage the sorting of incoming mail and documentation.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office
supplies.
9.
Reporting: - Prepare reports as needed to track sales performance, customer inquiries, and any
issues requiring attention.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or related fields is a
plus.
- Proven experience in customer service and sales, preferably in a retail or office
environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM or ERP systems
(e.g., Salesforce).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Self-motivated and customer-focused with an eagerness to drive sales.
