PURCHASING CLERK
Our client is a reputable, family-owned company located in the Central Western Suburbs that distributes medical equipment to the health care industry. They are looking for a PURCHASING CLERK
TEMP TO HIRE
Pay Rate: $19/HR
Hours:
8:00am – 4:30pm (Mon – Fri)
DUTIES Include (but not limited to):
- Processing of Dropship Purchase Orders (Data Entry)
- Review PO acknowledgements by email and calling vendors
- Index PO confirmation in DocLink paperless system
- Clearing Purchasing status in DocLink paperless workflow (Sorting stock from dropship items)
- Reviewing backorders to determine if the items are to be drop shipped or brought into the facility
- Check status of open purchases orders by email and calling vendors
- Filing the company's purchase orders in warehouse mobile filing cabinet
- Other tasks and project as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1+ years previous Purchasing experience
- Must be detail oriented
- Able to multi-task
- Strong Organizational skills
- Must be reliable and have own transportation
Technical:
- Intermediate computer skills
- Microsoft Word & Outlook knowledge required
- Good Typing skills
- Good communication skills
Software: (Will be using the following)
- Sage 100 (ERP System)
- Dual Monitors
- Paperless workflow system (DocLink)
Physical Demand:
- General Office and Warehouse environment
- Sitting, Standing, Walking, Bending up to 8+ hours per day
