Building a Healthier Community...Big Changes are already here!This tial Job Duties:Under the direction of the Department Director, the Transporter is responsible for the transportation of patients by wheelchair or gurney between the emergency room and the patient's room to the C T, Nuclear Medicine or MRI in a safe manner. Is also responsible for processing daily charges generated in C T. Qualifications Requirements: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients, and the general public. Ability to performance basic math. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical/clinical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Previous radiology or hospital experience preferred. May be trained on the job with experience working with geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric. Must be at least 18 years of age. General education level. Current BLS Certification. CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
