**Position: Quality Assurance Inspector**

**Location:** Syracuse, NY

**Type:** Temp to Hire

**Pay:** $18-$20/hr. + benefits

**Overview:**

Adecco is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for a local client in Syracuse, NY. This role involves ensuring quality throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Conduct routine visual inspections and assessments of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

+ Identify faults in materials and manufacturing processes.

+ Inspect raw materials using purchase orders and job cards against quality specifications.

+ Read blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with production standards.

+ Document and analyze product conformity to specifications.

+ Adhere to QMS procedures and ISO/AS9102 requirements.

+ Use measurement tools (calipers, scales, duro gauges) to assess product dimensions.

+ Communicate regularly with Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Production teams regarding quality issues.

+ Collaborate with management on workload and seek opportunities for additional tasks.

+ Monitor product characteristics throughout the production stages.

+ Maintain logs and quality records, assisting with machine operators' quality concerns.

+ Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

**Required Skills:**

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and product specifications.

+ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and relevant software (Planar, Zebra).

+ Strong understanding of product and/or process inspection.

+ Quality control certification (e.g., ISO 9000) is a plus.

**Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
