**Overview:**

We are preparing for an anticipated uptick in coal production in the first quarter of next year and are looking for dedicated and safety-focused Haul Truck Operators to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic operation in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ **Operation of Haul Trucks:** Safely operate articulated haul trucks to transport coal from the mining site to designated locations.

+ **Daily Inspections:** Conduct thorough pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with maintenance standards.

+ **Load Management:** Collaborate with site supervisors to manage load quantities, ensuring efficient and timely transport of materials.

+ **Communication:** Utilize handheld radios for effective communication with team members and supervisors regarding operations and any issues that arise.

+ **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, fostering a safe work environment for yourself and your coworkers.

+ **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate logs of loads transported, inspections completed, and any maintenance issues encountered.

+ **Maintenance Support:** Assist in minor maintenance and cleaning of haul trucks as needed.

**Qualifications:**

+ **Experience:** Previous experience operating haul trucks is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.

+ **Safety Focus:** A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.

+ **Communication Skills:** Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

+ **Reliability:** Punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic.

+ **Team Player:** Willingness to collaborate and support fellow team members.

**Training:**

On-the-job training will be provided, including hands-on experience with a Trainer Ride-Along program to ensure you are well-prepared to operate independently.

**Pay Details:** $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
