Collections AgentnnAdecco is assisting in the search for an organized, temp to perm Collections Agent position in Whiteville, NC. In this position, you will be responsible for collecting delinquent accounts in a timely, orderly and professional manner while following all standardized collections procedures. Make supervisor aware of problem accounts that may result in repossession, foreclosure, or charge-off. The ideal candidate can multi-task and has exceptional time management skills. Work days are Monday-Sunday and hours can vary between 8am-9m. It is required to work 1 Saturday a month. Pay for the position is $15/hour.nnResponsibilities for this position include:nnMeet performance expectations for collection efforts for assigned accounts based upon individual goals and objectives, e.g., a minimum calls per day, contact percentage, promises/calls ratio, promises kept.nnPlace or receive calls in priority order as established by management. Negotiate payment arrangements with clients to cure delinquency, evaluating ability and willingness to pay. Navigate and interpret various screens and relay information to clients accurately and professionally.nnDetermine cause of delinquency and best course of action to assist delinquent customer.nnDocument all collection efforts for each assigned account in accordance with established procedures, which may include using action and reaction codes, rescheduling feature, ?scratch pad? entries, etc. in the collection system.nnCommunicate collection efforts to branch lenders on assigned accounts in accordance with established standards, if applicable.nnOrder updated credit bureau report or initiate skip tracing process in accordance with established standards.nnReview files from Loan Services in accordance with established standards, if applicable.nnInitiate deferrals on accounts based upon written policy guidelines.nnCommunicate regularly with collections supervisor on status of problem accounts in accordance with established standards.nnEnsure that all delinquent accounts and assigned queues have been thoroughly worked according to standardized collection procedures.nnEnsure that appropriate letters are sent to debtors.nnProcess customers? payments through electronic draft, if applicable.nnProcess account maintenance transactions according to established guidelines.nnQualifications for this Collections agent position include:nnHigh school diploma or equivalentnnGood verbal and written communication skillsnnGood decision-making and problem-solving skillsnnGood time management/organizational skillsnnAbility to utilize Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPointnnAbility to work in a team environmentnnAbility to work flexible schedule, including overtime as needed.nnAdecco provides one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry to contract workers.nnEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisablednnPay Details: $15.00 per hournnPay Details: $15.00 per hournnBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
