Territory Sales Manager - (Kaycan) Fredericton On July 29, 2022 Saint-Gobain completed the acquisition of Kaycan, a manufacturer and distributor of exterior building materials in Canada and in the United States. With this acquisition, Saint-Gobain reinforced its worldwide leadership in light and sustainable construction by becoming the top siding player in Canada. We are excited to add new complimentary products to our already broad offering of exterior building solutions.
We are presently looking for an experienced and result-driven Territory Sales Manager-Fredericton for our retail and wholesale market.
Here’s what you’ll be responsible for in this role:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, a Territory Sales Manager is responsible for gaining market share in the assigned territory. Primary duties include selling, prospecting customers, servicing and growing sales to existing accounts, attending trade shows, conducting product presentations, and maintaining superior customer relations. This position is primarily focused on increasing sales, customer procurement, and retention.
Responsibilities:
To sell company products and actively manage assigned customer accounts.
Provide superior customer service to all existing and potential customers.
Become a product expert and actively use the knowledge to grow sales.
Establish and maintain key industry and business relationships.
Identify and solicit new business opportunities, including cold calling.
Inform client base of all marketing initiatives and promotions.
Train operations staff on product and sales knowledge.
Participate and aid in the product training of new employees.
Utilize technical tools to provide the sales team with customer information, sales call information, competitive market analysis, and planning (e.g., sales reports, CRM programs, etc.).
Collaborate with the marketing department on all facets of product marketing, social media initiatives, and related sales activity.
Here is what’s important to have to apply:
2+ years of outside sales experience, building industry experience preferred.
Experience selling to builders, contractors, and remodelers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, organized, and motivated, with a passion for sales.
Strong smartphone and computer skills.
