It is the objective of the Maintenance Manager to coordinate personnel, material, and technical resources to optimize equipment and facility usage. To serve as a technical and planning resource to all personnel for equipment, process, and facility needs. In addition, this position ensures parts availability for planned maintenance activities. The Maintenance Manager is to effectively manage preventive and predictive maintenance activities in order to increase uptime and avoid the waste associated with unexpected equipment failure. Supporting a safe working environment in the area of responsibility at all times is of paramount importance as is correcting or reporting unsafe acts or conditions through appropriate channels of resolution.
