Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage Client's B2B eCommerce Category Management and Website Operations. Our diverse team and their ideas drive the creativity that powers our work, from cutting-edge technology to impactful environmental initiatives. With more businesses now choosing to buy directly from OEMs online, our goal is to offer SMBs, Mid-Market, and Enterprise customers a one-stop shop via the Client's Business eStore, showcasing Client's full ecosystem of products and services. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional eCommerce experience for B2B customers.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for data and analytics, financial analysis, business planning, promotion planning, and merchandising strategy execution. They should be able to articulate ideas that enhance processes, operations, and systems. The role involves close collaboration with sales teams, eCommerce colleagues, and cross-functional partners in the Mobile, Display, TV, Memory, and Appliance product lines to align promotions, sales deals, and merchandising strategies. The candidate will also manage functional tasks related to the website and site merchandising and deliver data-driven insights for planning and post-analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct business planning and performance analysis, track achievement of targets, and develop gap closure plans.
- Plan promotions based on data analysis, maintaining promotional calendar documentation for internal stakeholders.
- Support B2B eCommerce sales agents by providing deal structures for customer negotiations on an ad hoc basis.
- Perform P&L analysis of all promotions and deals, focusing on driving profitable growth KPIs.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to optimize promotions, document results, and share key learnings.
- Drive merchandising strategy and execution for promotions, considering impact, inventory, and business priorities, while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with inventory managers to ensure alignment in promotion planning and merchandising activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with cross-functional teams to implement effective operational solutions.
- Use operational tools to set up promotional activities and other website tasks.
- Assist with daily operational maintenance, liaising with product, engineering, customer service, and fulfillment teams to resolve issues and meet objectives.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and self-motivation. Must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in eCommerce category management, website operations, and site merchandising.
- Experience with eCommerce platform and catalog management.
- Proven ability to work with financial data, including P&L analysis and various datasets.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data stitching, and mathematical analysis).
- Solid understanding of current technologies and systems supporting the digital ecosystem.
- Strong project or program management experience, with a focus on documentation, tracking, and detail orientation.
- Excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and a results-driven approach.
