About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Attorney to join their legal team. This role involves drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide variety of contracts. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in procurement and day-to-day contract management, with a proven ability to handle a high volume of agreements independently. Experience in healthcare or life sciences is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, including procurement agreements, vendor contracts, and other commercial agreements.
• Ensure contracts comply with company policies, applicable laws, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address business needs and resolve contract-related issues.
• Maintain and improve contract management processes for speed and accuracy.
• Provide legal guidance and risk assessments regarding contract terms and obligations.
• Work independently to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership
• Significant experience in procurement and day-to-day contract management.
• Ability to efficiently process contracts with minimal supervision.
• Experience in the healthcare or life sciences industries is highly desired .
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in contract management software is a plus.
